Saturday Night Fever
About The Show
Based on Nik Cohn’s 1975 New York magazine article “Tribal Rites of the New Saturday Night” and Norman Wexler’s 1977 screenplay it inspired, it focuses on Tony Manero, a Brooklyn youth whose weekend is spent at the local discotheque.
There he luxuriates in the admiration of the crowd and a growing relationship with Stephanie Mangano, and can temporarily forget the realities of his life, including a dead-end job in a paint store.

Dancers
Seeking strong, professional, and versatile dancers 18+ with styles that include Contemporary, Jazz, Theater Dance, Showgirl, and Hip Hop.
Dancers should have strong stage presence including a wide range of physical and emotional expression, performance quality, and the ability to command the stage.
Singers
Strong singers, with professional performance background (i.e. theater, concert, etc.).
Versatile vocalists able to harmonize and perform a wide variety of contemporary music genres, including Pop/Rock, R&B/Soul, Gospel, Contemporary Musical Theater/Broadway, and Jazz. Movement or dance background and strong acting ability a plus.
Female Presenting (All Ethnicities)
- Strong, controlled belt/mix to F5 legit to C6.
Male Presenting (All Ethnicities)
- Tenors and Bari-tenors with strong falsetto extension. Must be able to comfortably sing and sustain up to A4. Falsetto to F5.
Vocalists
Seeking Vocalists:
Strong singers with professional performance background (i.e. theater, concert, etc.). Versatile vocalists able to harmonize and
perform a wide variety of contemporary music genres, including Pop/Rock, R&B/Soul, Gospel, Contemporary Musical Theater/Broadway,
and Jazz. Movement or dance background and strong acting ability a plus.
Candidates must be available and willing to travel internationally aboard our ships.

Handsome Brooklyn Italian lady’s man. One of “the Faces” (Tony’s gang). Genuinely tough guy, cocky, a criminal in the making.

Versatile dancers with excellent technical training. Seeking ensemble who sing and act.
Minor speaking roles such as Linda Manero (Tony’s younger sister), Doreen (a shy teenager who has an obsession with Tony) and Veronica (a sexy young girl), as well as additional understudies for Principal roles will be cast from the ensemble.

- Frank Sr.: Tony’s Brooklyn Italian, iron-fisted father who leads with bloated pride in the face of unemployment.
- Monty: Handsome womanizing, high-energy, DJ with a genuinely likable nod to 60’s free-spirited sexuality.
Must be able to sing and command the stage as will be required to have 20-min self contained cabaret act. Bari-Tenor to G with strong falsetto.
