Strong singer/actors, with professional performance background (i.e. theater, concert, etc.). Featured and Lead Vocalists hired for WE WILL ROCK YOU (3-4 performances weekly) will also perform in our Signature production show onboard the Anthem of the Seas: THE GIFT (3-4 performances weekly). Must posses the ability to sing musical theatre and pop/rock. Candidates must hold a valid passport and be willing/able to travel internationally aboard our ships.
Ensemble:

Dancer/Vocalist Ensemble hired for WE WILL ROCK YOU (3-4 performances weekly) will also perform in our Signature production show onboard the Anthem of the Seas: THE GIFT (3-4 performances weekly). Must posses the ability to sing musical theatre and pop/rock. Tumbling a plus. Candidates must hold a valid passport and be willing/able to travel internationally aboard our ships.

OPEN CALL INFORMATION:
Principals: Prepare two songs - one traditional musical theater and one pop/rock.
Ensemble: Please come prepared to dance first. Also prepare a 16 bar cut of a pop/rock song.
Bring headshot, resume, and personal songbook in case you are asked to sing something different.

Prior to your audition you will need to print out and prepare the audition material required. Please click on the applicable role link below.
Also, come prepared with your best 16 – 32 bars of a ballad and an up-tempo in contrasting styles. Vocal styles should include: Pop/Rock, R&B, Contemporary Musical Theatre/Broadway, and Jazz. Sheet music is required in the proper key. Must have strong acting ability. Singers will be taught a movement combination and should come prepared with proper dance attire. Singers will also perform in our Signature Production Show.
Females should have a vocal range between E3 – C6 with a strong, controlled belt/mix up to an F5. Must also be able to produce sultry alto notes as well as the ability to sing light and floaty in upper register.
Males should have a vocal range between C3 – B4 and must be able to sustain upper notes. Some roles require a strong falsetto up to an F5.
Should have very strong Rock voices and the ability and experience to cover. Must be able to handle dialogue. Must be excellent dancers. Acrobatic skills are an asset. Will perform in our Signature Production Show.

The villain, an iconic figure. Ruler of the world. Camp, sexy, voluptuous, feisty and funny. A powerful and power-crazy, ruthless boss. Full Soul/Rock voice. Vocal range: E (below middle C) to E (two above middle C). Movement is an asset.
Male, 30s – 50s.
Killer Queen's second-in-command and head of Globalsoft's police, who carries out Killer Queen's dirty work. A smooth operator, ruthless and heartless. Attractive, sophisticated, intelligent, sinister, cruel, cold but charming. High Baritone with strong falsetto. Vocal range: D (below middle C) to A (above middle C). Full voice falsetto to E (two above middle C).
Male, 20s – 30s.
A dreamer, a rebel and the central character. Attractive, sexy, vulnerable, restless, headstrong and stubborn. Lives on his nerves. On a mission to accomplish something in his life. High Rock voice with strong falsetto. Vocal range: D (below middle C) to Bb (above middle C). Full voice falsetto to E (two above middle C).
Female, 20s – 30s.
A sarcastic, hard-bitten cynical girl and Galileo's love interest. A rebel. Deeply introverted and complex. A Goth teenager. A misfit. Uses her self-deprecating wit to cover her sensitivity and vulnerability. Must be able to transform and blossom as confidence grows. Good comedic timing required. Strong Rock belt. Vocal range: E (below middle C) to E (two above middle C).
Male, 20s – 30s.
Leading male Bohemian rebel. A big gentle giant with a heart of gold. Strong, sexy, loveable, innocent, cool with lots of energy. Steet wise. Full Rock voice with ‘scream’. Vocal range: D (below middle C) to B (above middle C). A good mover.
Female, 20s – 30s.
Leading female Bohemian rebel. Rock chick. Aggressive, street-wise, sexy, womanly, tough, common, foul- mouthed, wild, worldly and experienced. Must be an excellent mover/strong dancer. Strong Rock belt. Vocal range: A (below middle C) to E (two above middle C).
Male, 30s – 50s.
POP - An elderly librarian trying to figure out the exact date the music died. Bar man, ex-rebel. A hippie stand-up comic type. A cross between George Carlin and Robin Williams. He's worldly with a natural curiosity and passion for life and music. Good rock voice and comic skills required. THE REBEL LEADER - The official leader of the Bohemian movement. A rather pompous figure who has made himself an expert on the legend of rock and is perhaps a bit too pleased about it. Light Rock voice-pleasant Baritone. Vocal range: E below middle C to E above middle C.
20s – 30s.
